Ive got adhd and struggle to get attached to games nowadays but I am in love with gamma and can’t put it down. The only thing that’s missing the ability to control the helicopter gunship when playing as the military (gib ac-130 plz👀).Interestingly enough GAMMA can be even more grindy than EFP 3.0 can be at times , mainly because of the parts , components , repair kit , tool kit grinding. No more looking through all the stashes, just go to x place and get them. I tried to read through the code and find this piece, but no luck. Alternatively for expert tools, you can do the quest for snitch to kill the top ten stalkers in the zone and you can save scum his quest reward if you don’t want to spend 5 hours finding them. They only spawn in yellow stashes and I think only as rewards for missions. The basic and advanced tools are spawned on southern maps but the expert tool only up north past Red Forest. In my current playthrough I found an expert tool kit in Pripyat and it took forever to get it.GAMMA is hard though- for a beginner. Anomaly/EFP is more "mainstream" in terms of gameplay and difficulty, BUT if you like it- then go right ahead! For one- GAMMA disables traders selling weapons, so unlike in Anomaly or all Stalker games and mods thusfar, you can't just waltz up to Sidor and buy a 100% condition G36 if you've got the money.
