I hear there's a few sketchy parts that might get real challenging. My other option is a DRZ 400, but there will be several hundred highway miles on this trip and that's not the Z's forte.Best time of year: July though October are ideal. Weekend exploration on the Oregon BDR. Had a great time running section 5 of the Oregon Backcountry Discovery Route. We hit a closed section on Bennett pass due to a previous fire. That just gave us an excuse to explore more trails with our two dogs. We loved having a new campsite every night.
