It’s not only ESPN, that happens with a lot of apps. I've had that happen fairly often with a lot of different apps, and I'm on my home wifi all the time too. I have this same problem. And I have both a cable log-in and subscribe to ESPN+. Works 100% fine on the Roku, but not on the Fire Stick.
