Re: Shilen Match VS Select Match barrels. One is straighter that the other and cleans up easier but they both seem to shoot well. My select match cleans up without a trace of copper while the other tends to have a small amout of copper in it. You will have to be a benchrest shooter to notice the difference in accuracy!

Ed shilen has been making barrels for a long time, and he has stayed in buisness for a reason, and it isnt because he overlaps his barrels!! People tend to follow the leader. (myself included at times) Brand X is winning all the shoots so brand X must be the best barrel there is.
