Subpar Survivors is a mod that adds more realistic and diverse NPCs to Project Zomboid, a zombie survival game. It is based on Superb Survivors, but with more fixes, features and balance changes. Superb Survivors can be janky as all hell but it's small moments like this that make it worth it. I always have that one survivor who's my favorite with a backstory I gave him and everything and it's always that survivor that gets killed by something stupid I did. Honestly, for a mod it’s quite good - it’s no replacement for actual NPCs when they’re added but it’s decent enough to play about with. Fair warning - It’s clunky and sometimes very buggy, although my experience has been much better than others. I find keeping spawns to a minimum helps.
