I know of a case where spiders made a nest in the vent of a Hyundai and that was not deemed to be under warranty. Get a piece of clear plastic tubing or hose (1/4" I believe) , put it on that vent nipple. Route the hose up near the bottom of the bed, then put a small engine fuel filter in the end of the hose.
