starting to hear a roaring noise from car. Its very random, only last for a short time and seems to only occur between 30 - plus 50 MPH. Since it increases with steering input I would suggest you check the power steering fluid level. The pump will whine if low on fluid. If it is low top it off and find out where it is leaking. The pump in the trans can make a very similar whine noise if low on fluid but that should not be related to steering input.
