It sounded like the noise an airplane makes when its starting its take off - thats the best way I can describe it. My second 2012 Si (mid VIN) never had that noise.James B. January 19, 2021. My 2010 Accord has approx 90k and just recently started making a 'dirtbike'. sound when accelerating. I know it's a 'typical' noise most older hondas make but mine. isnt that old. It only happens at around 2500 rpm. Any ideas you could throw my way. would be helpful.

Then remove the bolts holding it in place so you can remove it. Put the new alternator in place and insert the bolts. Tighten them down until they’re all fully snug.
